Rockland Municipal Planning Federation to host series on impact of transportation trends on development needs

The federation has developed a special focus: “A Year of Transportation.” Several events are planned, including an address at the federation’s March 29 dinner by former New York City Transportation Commissioner Sam Schwartz, known as “Gridlock Sam.”

Rockland Municipal Planning Federation’s annual dinner takes place at 6:30 p.m. March 29 at the Haverstraw Elks Lodge, with Sam Schwartz, a.k.a. “Gridlock Sam,” addressing the “Millennial Revolution in Transportation and What It Means to Rockland County.” The dinner is $45 per person; email Arlene Miller, millera@co.rockland.ny.us, for more information.
