To all aspiring real estate developers and young professionals seeking a deeper understanding of the overall process (and challenges) faced by real estate developers; ULI West/FF is pleased to announce its inaugural DEVELOPMENT 360 Program.
DEVELOPMENT 360 is a five- session professional development program taking place over the course of a year, each session covering the complete cycle the real estate development process from acquisitions, capital markets, entitlements/land use, construction/architecture through dispositions. The sessions are geared to real estate professionals that are in the beginning or mid-career stage, but are open to all. The speakers will share their experiences and best practices in a lively and interactive session, opting for case studies and Q/A over lectures and will include networking after each session.
SESSION 1: ACQUISITIONS with Alex Twining
The first session will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in White Plains, NY. The session will focus on the Acquisitions process and will be lead by Alex Twining, CEO and President of Twining Properties. Mr. Twining is a seasoned real estate developer with over 35 years of experience in the field. He has structured $2 B in equity and debt capital transactions and negotiated numerous complex acquisitions, land assemblages and joint ventures and has developed 4 million square feet of development in New York City and Boston. One of their recent projects includes the Watermark Seaport in Boston, a 300,000 SF mixed-use building in the Seaport, one of Boston’s hottest development districts.
