Emerging Trends in Real Estate ® , undertaken jointly by PwC and the Urban Land Institute is based on insights from hundreds of industry leaders and is the most highly regarded and widely read forecast report in the real estate industry.
An interactive, moderated, local response panel comprised of leading area real estate investors and a Q & A session will follow.
Our second moderated panel will include a robust discussion on foreign investment in commercial real estate, evidence of which has been witnessed with increasing frequency in recent years in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. On the institutional side, equity and debt investors have contributed capital to all property types including office, residential multifamily apartments and condominiums, retail and hotel. Individual foreign investment opportunities have been exercised through investor equity and / or debt transactions involving capital from Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe. Another potentially attractive investment vehicle is the EB-5 Program which couples a more expedient path to citizenship with individual foreign investment. In all instances, these foreign investment opportunities stimulate overall investment and job growth in the U.S.
