Join ULI/WLI Westchester/FF on Wednesday, August 4th to hear about the new Cohen SoundWaters Harbor Center, a 12,100 square-foot maritime education center which aims to improve equity, community access, and opportunity. The $8 million project, which will be the cornerstone of the revitalization of Stamford’s Boccuzzi Park, includes beach restoration and public access to the water as part of a public/private partnership. The program will include an informal presentation by Dr. Leigh Shemitz, President of SoundWaters, followed by a two-hour sunset sail on the 80-foot, 18th-century schooner. Enjoy a brown-bag dinner, drinks, and networking with colleagues while watching the sun dip below the horizon on the beautiful Long Island Sound.
