    Nadir Settles

    Managing Director, Nuveen Real Estate

    Nadir is a managing director and is responsible for all aspects of New York office real estate investments. Nadir’s experience includes various positions from asset management, acquisitions, and product development. Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2012, Nadir was involved in both asset management and acquisitions roles at Silverstein Properties and RLJ development Urban Lodging Trust (formally RLJ Development LLC). Nadir graduated with a B.A in Business Administration from St. John’s University, an M.B.A. from Villanova School of Business and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University

    Robert Balachandran

    President , Bellrow Title Agency

    Robert P. Balachandran is a Principal and President of BellRow Title Agency. In his role as President, Robert is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the firm and is charged with establishing and executing the firm’s strategic growth initiatives. Robert brings to the firm, his diverse background and broad range of experiences that he has gained after 25 years of working in the real estate industry as an attorney, developer, consultant, and investment banker. Mr. Balachandran has been involved in the title insurance industry since 2010, starting as a business consultant to the title industry and later as the head of National Sales of one of the largest title insurance agents in the New York Metropolitan area. Robert has very quickly developed an intimate understanding of all aspects of the title insurance industry including title search, production, and closing operations. Prior to working at BellRow Title, Robert served as Executive Managing Director/Chief Administrative Officer for the global real estate firm, Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Balachandran also held senior positions as both a Managing Director and Executive Director at Bear Stearns and JP Morgan, respectively. Mr. Balachandran has held senior cabinet positions in New York State government, serving as both a Senior Assistant Counsel to the Governor and later as the President/CEO of the Hudson River Park Trust, where he was in charge of the $400 million dollar construction of the Hudson River Park, the largest open space development in Manhattan since the creation of Central Park. Mr. Balachandran currently serves on various Boards and Charities including the New York State Affordable Housing Association, the State University of New York Research Foundation, Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, the University Council of the State University of New York at Albany, the City of New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency and Play Rugby USA. Most notably, Robert served as a Board Member on the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, the New York State Public Authority charged with design and redevelopment of the “Ground Zero” site in Lower Manhattan after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.     Andy Warren

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research, and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past seven years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”. Andy has over 30 years of experience in all aspect of commercial and residential real estate research. Andy has performed and managed real estate fundamental analysis and forecasting, portfolio construction, and buy/sell decisions for both debt and equity clients. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, a top 10 institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career and served as a voting and advisory member on a multiple real estate debt and equity investment funds. Andy has earned the CFA designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum as well as a participating member of ICSC, NCREIF, NAIOP, the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM institute.
