    Holly Hasbrouck

    Stewart Title Insurance Company

    Holly Hasbrouck is a Vice President of Sales and Senior Business Development Officer at Stewart Title Insurance Company. Founded in 1893, Stewart Title is one of the largest global title insurance underwriters and providers of real estate services well known for its expertise and signature local touch. Holly’s Career in the title insurance industry spans over 20 years. During her 13 years at Stewart, Holly has been responsible for closing thousands of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Holly’s client base consists of attorneys, developers, institutional and private lenders, and building owners and operators. Holly specializes in handling complex transactions such as acquisitions, assemblages, construction loans, air rights, zoning exhibits, and IDA financing. In 2013, Holly was appointed to serve as a member of the Westchester County Planning Board by then Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino. Holly is presently serving her third term on the Planning Board after being reappointed by the current County Executive George S. Latimer. Holly is also a member and sponsor of the Westchester/Fairfield Urban Land Institute and a member of both the New Rochelle and Northern Westchester Bar Associations. Prior to her career in the title insurance industry, Holly held positions at Equitable Life, Citibank, N.A., Private Banking, and Shearson Lehman Brothers where she served as Vice President in the Branch Planning Department. Holly graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Fine Arts. Holly has been a resident of the Town of North Castle for 27 years.

    Gregory Merchant

    Investment Design Properties, Ltd.

    Gregory Merchant is the President and CEO of Investment Design Properties, Ltd., a boutique commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm he founded in 1983 to provide development and investment advisory services. His clients include Montefiore Medical Center, the County of Westchester and the Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund who he represented in their purchase of the College of New Rochelle earlier this year. Since 2014, when Mr. Merchant introduced RXR Realty to New Rochelle and represented the firm in its capacity as the Master Developer in the rezoning of over 280 acres in downtown New Rochelle, he has also represented other developers, including Mill Creek Realty Trust, L + M Development Partners, Wilder Balter Partners, The DeMatteis Organization, Sansome Pacific Properties/Fortress Investment Group, BRP Companies and Trinity Financial. During his tenure at Investment Design Properties, Ltd., Mr. Merchant has served as a member of the New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency, the New Rochelle Local Development Corporation, the Davids Island Task Force, the Board of Directors of the New Rochelle Overall Economic Development Corporation, and the Board of Directors of the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence. Mr. Merchant, who is also the Chairman of Cortlandt Partners, Ltd., a real estate investment company, received a BS in Finance and Business Management from Long Island University and a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

    Greg Belew

    Divisional President, Quarterra

    As a Divisional President for Lennar Multifamily Communities (LMC), Greg Belew leads a regional team with responsibility for all development operations for the company in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania markets. Belew originally began his real estate career with JPI Development, developing luxury multifamily real estate communities in Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco. Belew’s career has also included positions with JP Morgan’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group, JPI Companies, and Alliance Residential. Belew was also a co-founder of Fifth Square Partners, a boutique developer of condo buildings throughout the northeastern U.S. Belew has successfully developed projects in many markets, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas, and California. Belew earned a BBA in Real Estate and Finance at Southern Methodist University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Gerri Tortorella

    Partner/Attorney, Hocherman Tortorella & Wekstein, LLP

    Gerri Tortorella is a founding partner of Hocherman Tortorella & Wekstein, LLP (HTW) and for decades has been representing private clients in the entitlement approval process in Westchester County, the Hudson Valley and Long Island. She appears regularly before municipal agencies and boards seeking land use approvals and environmental permits for a wide variety of development proposals including mixed use, industrial, retail, residential, recreational and office projects. Gerri and her firm have extensive experience with Article 78 Proceedings and other types of litigation and, when necessary, litigates to protect its clients’ rights and interests. Gerri has lectured and/or written articles regarding various zoning, environmental law, property rights, and constitutional issues for National, State and local organizations and groups. She is an Associate Member of the Urban Land Institute/Westchester-Fairfield District Council, in which she co-chairs the Business Development and Women’s Leadership Initiative Committees and serves on the Management/Advisory Committee. She and her firm also support the programs and efforts of the Land Use Law Center at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, from which Gerri earned her J.D., cum laude.
