YOUNG LEADERS COMMITTEE CO CHAIR
The goals of YLG are to encourage the next generation of real estate professionals to actively participate in ULI to gain exposure to senior industry leaders and to share content-filled ideas and experiences with fellow Young Leaders. The benefits of being a Young Leader include educational opportunities through attendance at and participation in content-based programs and task forces, networking opportunities with peers and senior professionals and reduced dues and program registration fees.
Our goals are accomplished through the following four concurrent programs, in addition to those offered by the Westchester/Fairfield District Council:
EXECUTIVE BREAKFAST SERIES
The Executive Breakfast Series allows Young Leaders to meet each quarter with top real estate executives throughout the region for intimate discussions on industry trends, current projects, investment strategies, and community development issues. Please visit our Calendar of Events for more information.
NETWORKING SOCIALS
Young Leader Networking Socials meet with peers to discuss anything from industry topics, travel, sports and leisure. Often, Young Leaders are asked to “bring their boss” along for the festivities.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVE TASK FORCES
Young Leaders are encouraged to participate in ULI Westchester/Fairfield’s Strategic Initiative Task Forces. The District Council has determined that Workforce Housing/Place-making, Infrastructure, and Sustainable Development are topics relevant to our members and the communities in which we live and work. Participation affords Young Leaders with consistent, content-based interfacing with real estate professionals in the public and private sector.
