Join ULI Westchester/FF on Thursday, September 21 for a two-part event. First, come hear about the newly constructed Cohen Soundwaters Harbor Center, a 12,000 square foot maritime education center whose mission is to improve equity, community access and opportunity. The eight million dollar project, which is the cornerstone of the revitalization of Stamford's Boccuzzi Park, includes beach restoration, and public access to the water as part of a public-private partnership. The program will commence with an informal tour and talk of the Center, given by Dr. Leigh Shemitz, President of Soundwaters, followed by a two-hour sunset sail the 80 foot, 18th century schooner.
Enjoy lite bites and beverages, drinks and networking with colleagues while watching the sun dip below the horizon on the beautiful Long Island Sound.
