    Alex Gatti

Chairman of the Board, The Sharing Shelf

Alex Gatti currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at The Sharing Shelf in Port Chester, NY. Before joining the board in 2019, she was first introduced to the challenges of clothing insecurity for children and teens as a volunteer at their Teen Boutique event. This experience ignited her commitment to expanding the program’s impact throughout Westchester County. Drawing from her expertise as an Account Director at BBDO and Lowe Worldwide for over 17 years, Alex leverages her knowledge and enthusiasm for building awareness and developing advertising campaigns for prominent brands to the not-for-profit sector. Having relocated from Manhattan to Westchester to raise her family, she has channeled her passion and energy into the community—holding various positions with the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound and The Mamaroneck Schools Foundation, where she served on the grant selection team for six years. As the co-creator of the Murray Avenue Elementary School Garden, she infused her love for gardening into a comprehensive curriculum, resulting in a thriving educational program. Alex earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Syracuse University.
