    Director of Residential Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts

    Tim Perini recently joined AWRE as Project Executive and will have primary responsibility for overseeing thedevelopmentof 120 Old Post Road. Tim has over 25 years of experience in construction, project managementand real estate development.Prior to joining AWRE, Tim oversaw real estate development for a rapidly expanding, live-music, entertainmentconcept called Brooklyn Bowl, where he worked on new venues in London, Las Vegas and Chicago rangingin size from 30,000 to 80,000 sf. Prior to this, Tim spent eight years as head of Residential Developmentfor Starwood Hotels & Resorts, owner and operator of the Sheraton, Westin, W and St. Regis brands. Timalso worked for several companies within the engineering, construction and project management fields,including international giants AECOM and Perini Corporation. Tim also co-founded and ran an internetbusiness that developed software to facilitate the design, construction and management process for large,complex projects.Tim is a graduate of Harvard University where he received both a BA and MBA. He also received a MS inCivil (Geotechnical) Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.555

    Stuart Lachs is a principal at Perkins Eastman Architects DPS and currently leads the firm’s residential practice. Mr. Lachs is a registered architect with more than 30 years of experience, specializing in all types of housing with a focus on luxury multi-family developments. He has successfully navigated the entitlement process in communities throughout Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts for developments ranging in size from 14 units to over 700 units. His wide range of experience also includes high-rise office buildings, religious buildings, schools, corporate office parks, and even a helipad. Mr. Lachs has worked with a range of developers from not-for-profits building their first affordable housing project to national REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) expanding into new markets. He is particularly skilled at developing innovative solutions to accessibility challenges.
